Tom Landry lost his battle with leukemia in February 2000 and is laid to rest in the Sparkman - Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in north Dallas. There is also a cenotaph, complete with a depiction of a fedora, in Landry’s memory in the Texas State Cemetery in Austin.
